Cat Chat | Episode 3 – Scholarship Success

It’s that time again! Welcome to another episode in the series from St. John’s Northwestern Academies – “Cat Chat” with our amazing college and career counselor Catherine Lewis.

This week “Cat” shares an update of how the class of 2024 is doing in overall scholarships… and spoiler it’s really incredible!

TRANSCRIPT: Hi, and welcome back for episode three of Cat Chat, a program where you get to chat with me, Cat, college and career counselor here at St. John’s. Today, I just wanted to share a little bit of update on our Class of 2024 and let you know some of the milestones that they’ve accomplished so far. The last time we chatted, I shared that they had about three million dollars in offered scholarships.

But as of today, I’m so excited to announce that they have $5,250,000 worth of total collected offered scholarships. Some of the scholarships include our four, four year ROTC scholarships that our students will be able to apply to universities like Johns Hopkins, Notre Dame, the University of Michigan, UW Madison, MSOE, and more.

We currently have one senior who has already received his appointment to West Point and two other seniors who are still awaiting their service academy decisions. They’ve already gotten their congressional and senatorial nominations for places like the Air Force Academy, Naval Academy, West Point and Merchant Marine Academy.
