SJNA JROTC Team Claims 1st Place Overall at Upper Midwest JROTC Challenge

DELAFIELD, Wis. – St. John’s Northwestern Academies (SJNA) proudly announces another championship victory at the annual Upper Midwest JROTC Challenge Competition held in Minneapolis on Friday, February 7. This marks the third consecutive year that SJNA cadets have returned home with a 1st place overall finish, showcasing their leadership, discipline, and teamwork.

Competing against 12 JROTC programs, the SJNA cadets delivered outstanding performances across multiple events, bringing home four trophies:

1st Place Team Overall

1st Place – Color Guard Event

2nd Place – Physical Fitness Test Event

3rd Place – Unarmed Regulation Drill Event

Additionally, six SJNA cadets placed in the top 10 of the Individual Drill Knock-Out Competition, in which more than 300 cadets participated:

Cadet Alejandro Castro – 2nd Place Overall

Cadet Carl Swanson – 1st Place Overall, earning him a trophy of his own
