SJNA Soccer Kits Find New Home in Zimbabwe

DELAFIELD, Wis. – St. John’s Northwestern Academies and Keeper Goals found an amazing use for a set of their Lancer soccer uniforms by teaming up with MTC Educate A Girl Inc.

The Lancer uniforms, which were previously sitting in storage, were donated to MTC Educate a Girl through Maka Chikowero, a remarkable young woman who started the foundation to educate young women in villages across rural Zimbabwe as well as enabling girls to take part in sports.

SJNA and Keeper goals coordinated multiple sets of uniforms to be donated, but this specific kit arrived in Zimbabwe just in time for the 2023 MTC Girls Soccer Tournament.

MTC’s founder Chikowero decided to share the soccer kit with a team based at Muchemwa High School in a rural district called Mhondoro Ngezi in central Zimbabwe.
