SJN’s Allison Belt Qualifies for Nationals at WI State Ski Meet

DELAFIELD, Wis. – Allison Belt of St. John’s Northwestern has earned a coveted spot on the Wisconsin High School All-State Ski Team after an outstanding performance at the Wisconsin State Ski Meet. Belt’s exceptional results qualified her to compete at the National High School Ski Meet at Grand Targhee Resort, Wyoming, on March 13-15.

Belt’s Individual Results (Out of 140 Racers)

  • Slalom: 7th place
  • Giant Slalom: 13th place
  • Super G: 23rd place
  • Overall: 12th place (qualifying her for the WI State Team)

KM/SJN Ski Team Finishes 3rd at State

Belt’s success was part of an impressive team effort, as the KM/SJNA Varsity Girls Ski Team secured a 3rd place finish at the WI State Ski Meet. Competing against 22 top teams, the team demonstrated remarkable teamwork and skill in slalom, giant slalom, and Super G events. Belt’s teammate, Monica Wawrzyn, also put in a stellar outing and qualified for the state team in eighth place.
