St. John’s Northwestern Academies Lancer Varsity Soccer Team Heads to State!

DELAFIELD, Wis., November 2, 2021 –On Saturday, October 30, the Lancer varsity soccer team defeated Lake Country Lutheran 2-1 in overtime to win the WIAA Sectional Final. Johnny Dorow was outstanding in goal! He made an incredible save on a penalty kick with 3 seconds left in the game and the game tied 1-1. Josh Pandl scored the first goal for the Lancers, and Joey Schinner scored the winning goal in overtime.

Next up, the #3 seed, SJNA/Chesterton Academy (whom we co-op with) will face the #2 seed, Sheboygan Christian/Sheboygan Lutheran on Thursday, November 4 at Uihlien Soccer Park in Milwaukee at 7:00 p.m. CST.

The winner of that game will play for the State Championship, against the winner of the #1 seed- Oostburg and, the #4 seed- Arcadia. That game will also be played on Thursday, November 4. Game time is 4:30 p.m. CST.

The State Championship game is scheduled for Saturday, November 6 at 1:30 p.m. CST.

The following is information regarding the state soccer tournament, beginning Thursday, November 4.

STATE TOURNAMENT ONLINE TICKETING – NEW THIS YEAR! The 2021 WIAA Boys State Soccer Tournament matches feature ONLINE TICKETING ONLY. Fans can purchase tickets HERE. Tickets are $11 plus fees. NO CASH WILL BE ACCEPTED FOR ADMISSION TO THE SOCCER MATCHES! You will be asked to present your digital ticket at the Uihlein Soccer Park main entrance. Note: You will need a mobile device to enter the WIAA Boys State Soccer Tournament matches. If members of your travel party do not have mobile device accessibility you may purchase additional tickets on your account for those individuals.

PARKING – (CASH ONLY) Uihlein Soccer Park will charge a $5 parking fee per vehicle, and a $30 parking fee for buses. You will be asked to present your digital ticket at the Uihlein Soccer Park main entrance. You will not need to present your ticket when paying for parking.

WIAA State Boys Soccer Championship apparel will be available ONLINE ONLY HERE through Wednesday, November 10th at 11:59 p.m. CST. No on-site apparel sales.

VIDEO STREAMING/TV VIEWING OPTIONS
SEMIFINAL MATCHES LIVE ON THE WEB: The semifinal matches (November 4th and 5th) of the WIAA State Boys Soccer Tournament will be streamed live on the WIAA.TV portal of the NFHS Network on a consumer subscription basis for $10.99 per month. You must subscribe to the monthly rate (no single game rates) to view semifinal matches. To purchase a subscription to the live programming, visit WIAA.TV and click on the subscription graphic on the page. Archived streams of the games will be available on-demand on the NFHS Network 72 hours after the tournament with a paid subscription. *Due to WIAA rules, St. John’s Northwestern Academies is not able to live stream any of the state tournament. The only live stream viewing option is through WIAA.TV.
FINALS BROADCAST ON BALLY SPORTS WISCONSIN: Watch the broadcast of the WIAA Boys State Soccer Championship Saturday, November 6th on Bally Sports Wisconsin and on the Bally Sports app with cable system authentication. Check local cable listings for the channel in your area. The final of the Division 2 Championship match will only be streamed live on the Bally Sports app. The Division 2 match will be aired on a delayed basis following the Wisconsin Badger hockey game.
