Varsity Soccer Earns Midwest Classic Conference Championship for Second-Straight Season

DELAFIELD, Wis. – The St. John’s Northwestern Academies (SJNA) varsity soccer team achieved a remarkable milestone on Wednesday, clinching their second consecutive Midwest Classic Conference (MCC) championship with an impressive 2-0 victory over Lake Country Lutheran. 

The victory marks SJNA’s eighth conference title overall, adding to their history of triumphs in 1971, ‘79, ‘83, ‘84, ‘92, ‘94, and the recent back-to-back wins in 2022 and 2023.

Under the guidance of their dedicated coaches and the determination of the players, the Lancers demonstrated outstanding teamwork and sportsmanship which helped propel the squad to yet another MCC title.

Looking ahead, the Lancers set their sights on a postseason journey, which is set to kick off on Thursday, October 19. The team will face Faith Christian in an eagerly anticipated home game scheduled to kick off at 4:00 p.m.
