SJNA Announces John Lui as E.R.A Program Director
DELAFIELD, Wis. – On July 17, 2024, St. John’s Northwestern Academies welcomed John Lui as the new head of the Engineering, Robotics, & Aviation Program.
Lui will guide the program which was launched for the 2023-24 school year and features a cutting-edge lab, an aviation/drone program, a flight simulator, and cybersecurity curriculum.
Previously, Lui has taught science, math, STEM, and computer classes for grades 6-12 at Kettle Moraine School District for 25 years. Lui earned his Master’s of Education from Regis University and also owns a Bachelor’s in Biology & history from Knox College.
“We are thrilled to welcome John,” said SJNA President Robert Fine. “His years of experience in the field will provide so many new and exciting opportunities for our students, and position us as an academy for the future.”
As the director, Lui will put his years of experience in STEM education to work for our students. His expertise will help grow the program in its early years, and expand on the already strong program and facilities.
“I am so excited to begin working with SJNA,” stated Lui. “The school boasts an already strong E.R.A. program and I am ready to help take it to the next level in terms of the opportunities and doors it will open for our students. I want to thank President Fine for giving me the opportunity and look forward to working together.”
