St. John’s Northwestern is more than college prep. We provide a thorough and comprehensive education, including a strong emphasis on character education, to transform our students into moral and ethical leaders and citizens. Preparation for standardized tests is readily available at SJNA. From having our own on-campus testing coordinator to offering semester-long classes in ACT and SAT prep, to providing each enrolled student with a free membership to a self-paced online practice and coaching ACT/SAT program and regularly hosting other national tests (ASVAB, PSAT, NMSQT, Pre-ACT 8/9, Pre-ACT), our students receive the resources and guidance needed to increase test scores and rise far above national benchmarks and averages.

Each student gets one-on-one counseling to help identify and apply to appropriate schools or pursue future career paths and interest areas. Beginning in the 7th grade, our College Counselor starts working with your child to help ensure they are on the path for success in all areas of personal, academic, and professional growth. From our completely unique College and Career Planning Course to scheduling school visits every two weeks from employers, recruiters, and universities across the country, to taking students off campus for college tours every month, our college and career counseling program provides your student with a more immersive and interactive experience. St. John’s Northwestern Academies has a 100% college acceptance rate and students on average receive over $115,000 in scholarship awards and offers to the colleges and universities of their choice. Three 2019 graduates were admitted to West Point, with an overwhelming majority attending colleges and universities including Boston College, Princeton University, New York University, Rutgers University, Vanderbilt University, Northwestern University, and the University of Wisconsin – Madison.
