Historic Firsts

First introduced in 2018, our female student body at SJN has experienced rapid growth, successfully breaking down barriers for future generations. Sean Harres, a standout cadet, has earned her place as the first female from SJN to attend a service academy. This fall, she will be joining the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland, where she is poised to continue making SJN proud with her achievements and dedication.

Sean’s journey at SJN has been consistently groundbreaking. In 2023, she became the first female valedictorian in our academy’s history.

Chauff West Point Story sized

From Delafield to West Point

A 2020 graduate of St. John’s Northwestern, Skyler Chauff graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point on May 25, 2024, with a pair of the highest awards a graduating cadet can receive.

For his academic achievements, Chauff earned the title of Valedictorian for the Class of 2024, which featured 1,036 graduating cadets. Chauff posted an incredible 4.2 cumulative GPA on a 4.33 scale to take home the honor. An amazing accomplishment in itself, but it wasn’t the only award he claimed.
