St. John’s Northwestern Shines at Science Olympiad State Competition
DELAFIELD, Wis. – St. John’s Northwestern is proud to announce the remarkable achievements of its Science Olympiad Team, which competed at the Wisconsin State Science Olympiad Competition on April 4–5 at UW-Stout in Menomonie, WI.
Nineteen SJN students competed across two divisions (Div B & Div C) in 24 challenging events, including lab work, written tests, and engineering builds. With over 100 schools from across the state in attendance, the competition was fierce—but SJN’s team rose to the occasion, bringing home medals in two events and placing in many others.
“This is a phenomenal accomplishment given that this is only our second year competing against seasoned schools with decades of experience,” said coaches Ms. Steffens and Ms. Thom. “We are incredibly proud of the hard work and dedication our students have shown.”
