Middle school and high school students are welcome at St. John’s Northwestern. Our Military and Prefect Academies serve grades 6-12.

Grades 6-8: Gaining confidence at a crucial age

In a society that presents increasing distractions to young people, St. John’s Northwestern provides a structured, nurturing environment that empowers middle schoolers to focus on what’s important. Sixth, seventh and eighth grade Middle School Academy students study English, mathematics, science, history, physical education, leader development, and an elective in fine arts, foreign language, or technology. Qualified eighth graders may take electives in world language or freshman-level coursework for high school credit.

Grades 9-12: Launching on the path to maturity

Our faculty and staff are dedicated to preparing each student in the Military Academy and Prefect Academy for college and for life. Flexible sequences for high school students include standard high school, STEM Honors and Humanities Honors diplomas. Qualified students may take honors and dual-credit college courses.
