The memorable 2019 season included qualifying for the playoffs and defeating teams that our school has not beaten in many years. Ten players earned all-conference, six made all-county, and one was named to the all-region team. Two players were chosen to play in the Wisconsin Football Coaches All-Star Game.
With 26 runners in fall 2019, St. John’s Northwestern had one of the largest teams in the school’s history. Runners averaged 30 miles of training each week, and all team members competed in meets. The school’s first all-girls team competed in 7 of 8 meets.
Hard work and determination paid off as the Lancer varsity soccer team defeated Lake Country Lutheran 2-1 in overtime to win the WIAA Sectional Final on Saturday, October 30, 2021!
