SJNA Cadet Donovan Stadler Earns Congressional Nomination to West Point
DELAFIELD, Wis. – St. John’s Northwestern Academies (SJNA) is proud to announce that Cadet Donovan Stadler (Class of 2025) has received a primary Congressional Nomination to the United States Military Academy at West Point from Representative Scott Fitzgerald. The award was presented last Saturday (Feb. 8) during a special ceremony on the SJNA campus.
Earning a primary Congressional Nomination is a significant achievement, as it designates the candidate as the top choice from the congressional district, significantly increasing the chances of receiving an appointment. In addition, when a member of Congress chooses a primary nominee, this candidate is the first person from the district to be offered an appointment once they are deemed fully qualified by the Service Academy. SJNA has earned a primary nomination for the last three consecutive years, and both of the previous cadets who received this honor also secured service academy appointments.
This nomination highlights SJNA’s specialized “Pathway to Officership” program, which provides structured guidance for students aspiring to earn appointments to prestigious U.S. Service Academies such as West Point, the U.S. Naval Academy, and the U.S. Air Force Academy. The program also offers ROTC scholarships to top universities across the country.
SJNA has a proven track record of guiding students through the rigorous application process for military academies and elite university ROTC programs, ensuring they are well-prepared for leadership roles in the military and beyond. Through a combination of academic excellence, leadership training, and character development, SJNA empowers students to serve with distinction while pursuing higher education.
