St. John’s Northwestern Academies Solidifies Administration for the Future

DELAFIELD, Wis. – Ahead of the 2024-25 academic year, St. John’s Northwestern Academies (SJNA) has announced changes and a new commitment to the executive level for 2024-25 and beyond.

President Robert J. Fine, Jr. has graciously agreed to extend his contract, providing continuity and stability as we enter the 2024-25 academic year. In his own words, Fine stated, “I am looking forward to continuing my journey with the Academy. We are making significant strides towards the future. Now more than ever, I feel confident about the path forward and the team we have in place.”

Additionally, SJNA announced the promotion of two individuals to higher-level roles within the academies to support President Fine. Mike Fink has been with SJNA since 2018 and has been promoted to Executive Vice President – Chief of Staff. In his enhanced role, Mike will manage most aspects of day-to-day operations and staff management, allowing President Fine to focus more time on achieving critical goals for the Academy. Eric Sanchez, who joined the Academies in February 2023, is promoted to Vice President of Programs and Advancement, where he will contribute his considerable skills to support President Fine’s fundraising, program development, marketing, alums, and enrollment goals.

A member of the SJNA team since 2018, Mike Fink has held the positions of Vice President & Chief Student Affairs Officer and previously the Director of Athletics.

With over 40 years of experience in education, Fink brings an extremely high level of skills to the position. He has served as a teacher and school administrator, with his talents extending across various aspects of boarding school life.

Fink expressed his excitement about his role as Vice President, saying, “I am so excited for this position of Executive Vice President. I look forward to helping propel SJNA into the future and continuing with the Academies.”

Sanchez joined the Academies in February 2023 and has served SJNA as Director of Advancement since July 2023. Boasting well over twenty years of experience in the business world, non-profit, and higher education, Sanchez transitioned quickly to the boarding school scene and helped SJNA see a 23% increase in enrollment for the 2023-24 school year.

Sanchez also expressed his gratitude and eagerness, stating, “I am honored to be entrusted with this new role at SJNA. I want to thank President Fine and the Board for putting their confidence in me, and I can’t wait to see where we can take the Academies together as a team.”

President Fine expressed his confidence in the newly promoted individuals, stating, “I could not be happier to announce the promotions of Mike Fink and Eric Sanchez. They both bring tremendous experience, and their talents have served SJNA extremely well in their past positions. I have no doubt they will continue to do so in their new leadership roles.”

These changes are aimed at solidifying the academies and preparing them for future growth and development.

In 2024, SJNA celebrates 141 years of history, and looks forward to an even brighter future. Join the future and apply today at: sjnacademies.org/apply
