JROTC: MOTIVATING ACHIEVEMENT AND SERVICE

U.S. Army JROTC principles are a natural fit with our Military Academy curriculum

The U.S. Army Junior Reserve Officers Training Corps teaches the values of citizenship, service to the nation, personal responsibility, and a sense of accomplishment-perfectly complementing our leadership development focus. As cadets progress through the program, they have ample opportunities to lead other cadets.

Students working together

Core concepts carry beyond the classroom

The Army JROTC curriculum links content to other disciplines as well as state education standards and teaches cadets to collaborate, reflect and think critically. Cadets gather new information, practice competency, and apply the competency to a real-life situation. JROTC lessons cover leadership, health and wellness, physical fitness, first aid, geography, American history and government, communications, and emotional intelligence.
