His journey from SJMA to the helm of multinational enterprises is not just a testament to his prowess but also a narrative of dedication and relentless pursuit of excellence.

Richard’s trajectory was marked by his commitment to achieving greatness. Here at SJMA,  he honed his leadership skills as the S-3 Logistics Officer, and these formative years laid the groundwork for his future endeavors. His time at the academy set the tone for him and he is proud to be a member of this community.

After graduating with a quest for success and challenges, Richard pursued higher education, earning a Masters in Business Administration with a Minor in Economics from the University of Texas at Austin. This academic foundation provided him with the tools necessary to navigate the complex landscape of modern business with finesse and precision.

Richard’s professional journey began in 1999 when he assumed the role of Director at Grupo Stevi, later merging with industry giant Emerson Electric under the umbrella of Branson Ultrasonics. Here, he spearheaded initiatives in plastic assemblies, employing cutting-edge technologies such as laser, ultrasound, and vibration. His visionary leadership and relentless pursuit of innovation earned him accolades, including the Salesman of The Year awards in 2000 and 2001.

In 2002, Richard embarked on a new chapter as the Managing Director of RSP Automation / Telsonic Ultrasonics, where he orchestrated the orchestration of projects at both national and international levels. Under his guidance, the company witnessed unprecedented growth, with sales increasing by over 260% in the first five years, a testament to Richard’s acumen and strategic vision.

Richard’s philosophy of fostering synergy and valuing every individual’s contribution has been instrumental in driving organizational success. He believes in creating a work environment where everyone feels valued and empowered to unleash their full potential—a philosophy that has been integral to his leadership style.

Beyond his professional endeavors, Richard’s personal achievements at the academy stand as a testament to his spirit. He was always active, receiving the Military Excellence Awards in 1991 and 1992, and he was picked to be the team captain in soccer, a tennis champion plus, the commander of the Silver Riffles Team.
