NBA Schedule Release: Podziemski ‘21 Set for Return to Milwaukee to Battle the Bucks on January 13

DELAFIELD, Wis. – On Thursday (August 17), the National Basketball Association (NBA) announced the 2023-24 schedule and it features a homecoming of sorts for Brandin Podziemski. A 2021 graduate of St. John’s Northwestern Academies, Podziemski will return home to Milwaukee to face the Bucks on Saturday, January 13 at 7 p.m. CST.

A Greenfield, Wisconsin native, Podziemski grew up just minutes from Milwaukee and though he won’t be wearing the Bucks green and white in his return, you can expect to see a spattering of blue and yellow Podziemski jerseys to celebrate the return of SJNA’s first-ever NBA first-round draft pick.

“Podz” will kick off his NBA career on October 24th as the Warriors take on the Phoenix Suns on the opening day of the 2023-24 NBA season. Tip-off is scheduled for 9 p.m. CST live on ABC.

The DME at SJNA partnership will also be on full display throughout the season, as Podziemski will face off against DME Academy alums Kris and Keegan Murray seven total times in the upcoming year. He will face Keegan’s Sacramento Kings four times including the second game of the season on the road on Friday, October 27. Brandin will also face fellow 2023 NBA First-Round draft pick Kris Murray and the Portland Trailblazers three times with the first coming on the road on December 17.
