The military academy welcomes a decorated uniform to the campus.
DELAFIELD, Wis. – Today (Sept. 14), St. John’s Northwestern Academies announced that U.S. Army Lieutenant Colonel Ioannis (John) Kiriazis will join an internship role to help guide the JROTC program.
The U.S. Army approved John to accept an internship with SJNA through the end of November through a program called “Skillbridge.” During his tenure, John will work with the SJNA and JROTC faculty and Cadets to gain insights into the military academy and contribute to the school’s mission of building our Cadets to become the best they can be.
LTC Kiriazis has enjoyed serving in various executive and organizational leadership positions on four continents and has contributed to implementing and leading efforts to solve complex issues.
A West Point and Naval War College graduate with almost three decades of service as a U.S. Army Officer, he has solid experiences as an institutional director and educator. From his appointment as the Professor of Military Science at Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to serving as the Director for Training Support Activity on the Korean Peninsula and through leading combat operations in Iraq, he is so excited to join the Saint John’s Northwestern Academy team.
